Serving Seniors, Serving Our Local Communities, & Serving Globally
At our Idaho MorningStar senior living communities, our team feels blessed to have the opportunity to learn from our wonderful residents. We recognize that daily, they not only show us how to live but teach us that life’s deepest satisfaction is found when we give ourselves in service to others.
Our unique vision statement which reads: In pursuit of excellence, MorningStar resolves to be a company of servant-minded, purpose-driven leaders in our senior communities and throughout the world; means we are honored to invest our time and talents in charitable projects here at home and across the globe. As dementia care specialists, one project we proudly put our efforts into is supporting the Alzheimer’s Association.
This means throughout the year, we participate and raise funds for the Association’s various events such as holding “The Longest Day” celebrations in honor of the memory-impaired. It takes place each year on summer solstice and our team members, residents, their families and the surrounding community find inventive, fun ways to help raise money and awareness for this devastating disease. Activities include everything from unforgettable balloon releases, plantings, games, bake sales, and more.
Another important Alzheimer’s Association event is the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” that takes place each fall in our area in either September or October. Our communities organize teams that participant as walkers, runners, exhibitors and sponsors. The 5K Walk is the world’s largest event and raises awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
Currently our gorgeous MorningStar of Idaho Falls community is seeking individuals to fill a variety of assisted living jobs that include everything from medication care managers to dining room servers, cooks, housekeepers and more. Our assisted living jobs in Boise at MorningStar at Englefield Green and MorningStar of Boise included care managers, medication care managers, housekeepers, concierge and more.
Former first lady, Rosalynn Carter, is quoted as saying, “There are only four kinds of people in the world – those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers and those who will need caregivers.” Please join our mission and help us create homes that value all seniors as gifted and contributing individuals.
At the MorningStar communities of Idaho Falls, Boise & Englefield Green, our distinct mission statement: “to honor, to serve, to invest,” sets us apart from other senior living communities. With a foundation built on honoring God and valuing all seniors, we are currently recruiting staff with a felt calling to serve seniors. If you would love a rewarding career, please apply to one of our assisted living jobs at Boise or Idaho Falls senior living communities.
